Vermilion, Ohio.  The largest small boat harbor on the Great Lakes.  Tucked away off the Vermilion River on the Huron Lagoon sits Vermilion Power Boats, a well protected marina accommodating power and sailboats up to 55′.  Founded in 1956, Vermilion Power Boats carries on a long maritime tradition of boating in our town and on Lake Erie.

Here, you’ll find a wide variety of amenities for members and guests alike.  Two clubhouse facilities on the premises, along with private restrooms and a pavilion are all an easy walk from most docks.  ValvTect fuel facilities are easily accessible and open to the public, plus a captain’s store and a full-service marine repair facility with 30 ton lift is on-site.

You may also choose to venture out and explore Vermilion.  Start your morning off with a cup of coffee next door at Huggy’s.  On the other side of our marina, you can enjoy a meal at Quaker Steak & Lube overlooking the river.  For a great homemade breakfast or lunch, try Susie’s Cafe (family owned and delicious) near Ace Hardware and a short walk away. A half mile walk west will take you into the heart of downtown Vermilion, boasting an array of restaurants (Chez Francois, Rudy’s Bar & Grill, Salvatore’s, Old Prague, The Wine Vault, and many more!), plus gift shops and a public beach.

Vermilion Power Boats is a big part of the summer boating season for our members. We hope you’ll come by for a visit, and find out why Vermilion Power Boats is the best kept secret in boating!
